Open to collaborations
I work at the intersection of mathematical signal processing and machine learning, supervised by Alexander Bertrand and Reto A. Wildhaber. My main interest is building theoretically grounded AI methods, with a particular focus on deep autonomous linear state space models (ALSSMs). Read about my current PhD project on the KU Leuven research portal!
My academic path includes a Bachelor in Engineering Science and a Master in Biomedical Engineering at KU Leuven, where I ranked first in my cohort.
During my studies, I completed an exchange semester at ETH Zurich and contributed to many projects, which you can find on my Projects page.
I am particularly motivated by research that unifies strong mathematical foundations with practical impact in biomedical and broader signal processing applications.
